Indiana (Indy) , Bagherra (Baggy)

6 months after losing my beloved ginger-ninja Jasper to dementia at 16 years old I was ready to welcome another furbaby to my life. I adopted a blue and white slightly built part Burman stable kitten who after his initial nerves became an affectionate lap cat, especially with my daughter. My husband had always wanted a black cat just so he could call him Bagherra and about a month later I found such a stable kitten who I quickly adopted. Although a month younger he was already a big cat due to his Burmese lineage. At first they fought, Indy quickly established himself as the alpha cat and didn't like sharing anyone especially my daughter. I bought the FELIWAY Friends diffuser and the boys quickly became much calmer. They started to tolerate being in the same room without fighting, began eating side by side before sleeping together and mutual grooming. Soon they were inseparable - when they were neutered the vet had to let them share a pen while they recovered from the anesthetic just to keep them calm. Now Baggy is Indy's bodyguard and at night when they are shut in the house for safety, if Indy isn't home before Baggy he will cry to be let out again to go find him and escort him home. I don't think my boys would be so devoted to each other if we hadn't had FELIWAY Friends to help them create such a close bond.
